International Dairy Co-Op Open Studios
We had open studios tonight (and will on Sunday from 12-5) as part of the monthlong Santa Barbara Off-Axis
focus on local contemporary art. The studio space used to be a dairy in the 1920s (the International Dairy, to be exact), but has been in use as artist studios for the past 30 years. This is the first time since I've been there that we've all opened up to show our work to each other and people in the community. I met lots of people, sold lots of cards, gave away lots of posters, and had an excellent time.
