User Experience Design & Direction — Over a decade of design experience in web and software applications. UI designer, user experience researcher and producer of several award-winning websites. Manager of user experience team, including interaction designers and user experience researchers. Responsible for driving user experience improvements for Move web properties including Realtor.com, WelcomeWagon.com, Move.com and others. Introduced and implemented a user centered design process incorporating both quantitative and qualitative user experience research, including usability testing, A/B testing, site analytics and user surveys. Developed user interface design standards and patterns; created and directed production of interaction design and information architecture deliverables including wireframes, site maps and page flow documentation.

Grew business from 2 employees to over 60 employees; drove branding, graphic and user interface design efforts; art directed print, environmental and online advertising campaigns; managed several teams of interface designers, print designers, programmers, and web developers.

Lead Designer — Photodisc   march 1998 — september 1998
Lead online designer for photodisc.com stock photography website during its acquisition by Getty Images. Drove redesign of original site; performed brand analysis and created website designs; developed and contributed to site requirements documents, information architecture, and user interface specs. Redesign improved Photodisc’s website-generated revenue by over 30%.

Developed award-winning brand and e-commerce websites for several high-profile companies, including Patagonia, Land Rover, Rollerblade, Esprit, Apple Computer and Harmon/Kardon.
