Today, i was standing in the hallway with my boss and one of the QT architects. The following conversation ensued:

bossman: Jeez, it's like everyone is looking at buying a house right now
me: Well, Russell got a full-time job!
architect: Heeeyyyy... that means you can quit now!
bossman, looking directly at me: Buy a house. Now.

Heh. I'm choosing to read nothing into the quitting comment, and everything into my boss'.
