From the very beginning, when at 15 months old he took all the sand out of his sandbox and spread it all over the yard in a spontaneous act of abstract expressionism describing his personal views on man's inhumanity to man, jD. displayed a tendency towards the arts.
He loved to make up stories and plays, enjoyed drawing and cartooning, and was always daydreaming. Play-Dough was never far away, and neither were his imaginary animal and dinosaur friends from the jungle.
jD. became an art major at UC Santa Cruz, where he gained many skills in modelmaking and casting. He carries his skills to countless places, including costume design, sculpting, even creative food-making. He has a special place in his heart for creative endeavours involving insects.
