That's a wrap! We had an amazing time at this year's Shoptalk on March 3-6 at the Sands Expo Convention Center in the Venetian, Las Vegas. Hats off to our incredible Bossa Nova team - without their hard work and dedication, none of this would be possible.

With so many brands vying for the spotlight at Shoptalk 2019, our superb booth design helped us stand out from the crowd. Conceptualized and assembled by the Bossa Nova team, Booth 3229 provided the perfect space for attendees to view our live demos, try our ROI calculator, and even find some respite from the hustle and bustle of the show floor. The team was blown away by the positive feedback!

Bossa Nova delivers data tailored to a retailers' specific business processes. Out-of-stocks, on-shelf items requiring correction, and missed price changes are just a few examples. To help retailers imagine the possibilities, we built an interactive dashboard illustrating just one of the many ways our wealth of product data can translate into meaningful, actionable tasks in real-time.
On Tuesday, March 5, co-founder Martin Hitch took the stage as part of the "In-Store Automation" session. Part of a stand-out group featuring leadership from Eversight, Alert Innovation, and Trigo Vision, Martin discussed discuss how inventory-scanning robots can improve inventory management and simultaneously free up employees for service-oriented tasks. He also shared his vision for the future of in-store robotics in optimizing retail operations and growing omnichannel initiatives.

In December 2018, we partnered with Wakefield Research to survey (100) Corporate Retail Professionals about the inventory management issues that plague the industry and their thoughts on the automation technologies built to redesign their operations. Our findings confirmed that retailers are in desperate need of a solution for severe inventory problems and recognize that automation is the answer. We announced the results in the days leading up to Shoptalk - Automation is the Key to Retail’s Future - and enjoyed speaking to attendees and retailers alike about the survey's implications.
